Chin Implant
A receding chin depicts a weak facial profile and can make the nose look larger than it really is. A chin implant can rectify this problem, creating a strong jawline that is associated with youth and beauty. Chin augmentation is often combined with a facelift since loss of chin projection can occur with aging. This procedure is also done in combination with liposuction of the neck and beneath the chin.
An incision is made either in the mouth or near a natural skin crease under the chin. A pocket is carefully created into which the chin implant is inserted and secured. The chin implant will feel just like your natural chin.
The procedure is done in the comfort of Dr. Khoury's surgical suite and the patient is placed under I.V. sedation anesthesia. After surgery, the swelling will gradually subside and you will be able to fully enjoy your enhanced appearance.
